Kids Safe Haven works collaboratively with a wide range of professionalsinvolved in each child’s care, ensuring that support is coordinated andconsistent.

Leadership and Governance

Kids Safe Haven is led by an experienced leadership team committed to delivering high-quality residential childcare and ensuring the safety,wellbeing and development of every child living in the home.The leadership structure ensures clear accountability, strong safeguarding oversight and consistent support for staff and children.

Registered Manager

The Registered Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, including the management of staff, safeguarding oversight, care planning and ensuring that children receive consistent and supportive care.

Responsible Individual (RI)

The Responsible Individual oversees the strategic direction and governance of the service, ensuring that the home operates in accordance with regulatory requirements and maintains high standards of care.

Deputy Manager

The Deputy Manager plays a key role in the day-to-day leadership of the home, supporting the Registered Manager in ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and operational oversight. They help lead the team, provide supervision and guidance to staff, and contribute to maintaining a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children and young people.

Senior Staff

Senior Staff provide daily guidance and support to the care team, helping ensure children receive consistent, high-quality care within a safe and nurturing environment. Working closely with management, they support the smooth running of the home while acting as positive role models for both children and staff.

Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement

Kids Safe Haven is committed to maintaining high standards of care andcontinuously improving the quality of services provided to children andyoung people.The home has a structured quality assurance framework that ensures care practices are regularly reviewed, monitored and developed.

This includes:

     • regular internal audits of care records and safeguarding practices

     • monthly independent monitoring visits in line with regulatory requirements

     • regular staff supervision and reflective practice sessions

     • feedback from children, professionals and families

     • review of incidents and safeguarding concerns to identify learning opportunities

The management team carefully reviews information gathered through these processes to ensure that the home continues to improve and develop. Children’s views and experiences are particularly important in shaping the development of the home. Staff encourage children to share their thoughts and feedback so that their voices are heard and valued. Through this commitment to quality assurance and reflection, Kids Safe Haven strives to ensure that the home remains a safe, nurturing andsupportive place for children to live.
